Review of my “Summer Surprise” box from Eva Franco.
My closet mainly consists of second hand finds from thrift stores and Poshmark, but every so often I crave something new and exciting! The Summer Surprise box from Eva Franco caught my eye and I decided, even though surprises make me nervous, that I needed to try it! I have been a fan of Eva Franco for years and have several items in my closet that I have found thrifting or on Poshmark. I have ordered from the website once before and was very happy with my purchases. The box comes in 4 theme choices. “Colorful” “Glamour” “Casual” and “Classic”
I chose the “Colorful” box. The site says you will receive 4 clothing items and a few accessories.
You then need to choose your size. I chose size 6 for my box. My usual size is 4 in most brands, but my experience with Eva Franco has been that items run about one size smaller.
After you fill out the size information and purchase the box you are sent an email with a questionnaire about your style and preferences for some items that could be included. They even ask you to upload a picture of yourself and links to your social media sites, if you desire them to see more of your style so they can personalize the box for you!

All of my included accessories were masks. One matches the pink skirt. I am fully vaccinated and live in Florida where they are not required anywhere, so I likely won’t wear these much. They are cute and very well made though.
My favorite item is the Ella top. Followed by the Anja dress. The skirt is amazing but I will probably have a hard time finding a place to wear it. The pants are a little disappointing to me because while I love the color and print, they are a paper bag style waist, which is not flattering on me. I folded the ruffle edges into the waistband and pulled them to my hips and they may still work out like that…Overall I would definitely recommend the box. It was a fun surprise and they do allow one exchange if the sizing is off so it’s is not a complete risk! You can find the surprise box here.
