Hats off to hats!!
…and apparently also to drinking 😂🍻
One thing you will rarely catch me without when I am outdoors (aside from drink apparently) is a hat! I love traveling and visiting restaurants and breweries, and many have fantastic outdoor patios! This post will be a mix of some of my favorite places, AND my favorite hats!
OK all jokes aside, I am not ALWAYS drinking when I’m outside. Hats are also great for the beach…Being a resident of Florida I am definitely outside a lot, all times of the year.
I have a skin condition (Melasma) that can cause dark pigmentation on my face if I do not fully protect it from the sun. I always wear a high SPF sunscreen, and a cute hat!!!
One of my favorite beach spots in Daytona is The Ocean Deck Not only do they have great food and drinks, they also often have outdoor concerts, directly on the beach!

Another great place to stop after a day of collecting seashells in your beach hat, is at Caps on the Water in St. Augustine. They have a great view and a great menu! Grab a glass of wine or a Mimosa, and maybe even a fabulous Charcuterie board:

One of my very favorite local places to eat and drink is on the outdoor deck at Boondocks in Port Orange, FL:

I’m wearing my Chartreuse Coach Bucket hat.Its right on the Halifax river with an excellent view! My favorite meal there is the Tuna Steak sandwich and fries!
I also love a good hike, or walk and I love to go on road trips with various outdoor stops…Dottie my Toy Fox Terrier likes to join me!

Thankfully for Dottie, this giant deer at the Laumeier Sculpture park in St. Louis MO wasn’t hungry…but we’ll keep an eye on him.
Hats are not just another accessory for me, I consider them a finishing touch for my outfit!
